Policies

  1. All classes are to run consecutively (excluding scheduled breaks). The studio will not observe holidays other than those listed
  2. Upon registration you are automatically registered for our full calendar year, September-May. To officially withdraw from the studio we will need written notification through email or in person. Please note that you will continue to be charged for classes unless we are notified.
  3. All payments are non-refundable unless accompanied by a physician’s note.
  4. Fees are payable at the start of each term. Students will not be permitted to continue into the next term until previous outstanding accounts are paid in full.
  5. Spring recital dates are April 12th-17th. Please keep this is mind when booking vacations.
  6. Students must complete Term 4 in its entirety to participate in the recital.
  7. To ensure your child will be participating in the year end recital, a $60 non- refundable costume deposit will be due in December and deducted from the final price of the costume. Failure to submit this payment will result in a student’s lack of participation in the recital.
  8.  A $25 NSF service fee will be charged to cheques returned due to insufficient funds.
  9. If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather the class will not be rescheduled. Students are asked to make up the missed class with another suitable class scheduled later in the week. Notice of closure will be available on VOCM, through our voicemail, as well as posted on our Facebook page.
  10. If the teacher is sick she will be replaced by a substitute teacher or the class will be rescheduled. Notification will be given by email or cell phone. 
  11. It is advised that friends do not accompany students to class to observe. We cannot be responsible for children and teens that are not registered participants of the studio.
  12. Fusion Dance Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. We will also not be deemed responsible for any theft or damage to cars while parked.
  13. Fusion Dance Studio employees will not be responsible for students once they leave our facility and furthermore require all students who are not in class to be supervised at all times.
  14. If an injury occurs while on the premises, it is understood and agreed that Fusion Dance Studio will not be legally liable or held financially responsible in any way.
  15. Students, parents and legal guardians authorize any representative of Fusion Dance Studio to obtain any medical treatment that may be deemed necessary during an emergency situation where first aid and medical attention is required.
  16. Due to privacy rights, please no videotaping or photography to be taken of any of our classes. This will be strictly enforced.
  17. Tax receipts are available upon request and only issued for the previous calendar year. Receipts cannot be issued for classes taken any longer than the previous tax season.
